The chosen accommodation during the holiday period requires comfort and care, so that you feel at home. At Rodonas Apartments we have created a hospitality space as we dream of it for our own holidays.
Built in the square of Pythonas, Rodonas Apartments has a long history. Previously, the building housed the coffee shop of Sotiris Kokranis. The square got its name from the jar, as the waters from the hill crowned by the castle of Volissos gathered in the wider area. The road that connected the two squares of Volissos, Pythona and Christos, was the large commercial center of northwestern Chios. Later, the cafe was converted into a cloth shop, as evidenced by the marble inscription on the lintel of the building's facade.
The name Rodonas comes from the most fertile area of Volissos. The many spring waters of the Rhodona gave and still give wonderful fruits from the fruit trees and delicious herbs for its growers.
